Volleyball Recap: Great Crossing Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Lexington Catholic

Great Crossing faced Lexington Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warhawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The defeat continues a trend for the Warhawks in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Erin Thomas paced Great Crossing's offense, picking up six kills. Thomas got some help from Clarke McDonald and her 14 assists. Thomas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
