Baseball Recap: Holland's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Holland had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Calvin Christian Squires with a sharp 10-2 victory on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Dutch's hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Cody Rozema made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ethan Byrd, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
