Basketball Game Preview: Ingleside Mustangs vs. King Brahmas

The Ingleside Mustangs and the King Brahmas will compete for holiday cheer at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Ingleside's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while King has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Last Tuesday, Ingleside lost to Robstown on the road by a 52-36 margin.

Meanwhile, King might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Sinton an easy 36-16 victory. While losing is never fun, the Brahmas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1361st, while the Pirates are ranked 558th).

Ingleside's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Ingleside took their win against King when the teams last played last Tuesday by a conclusive 53-31. Does Ingleside have another victory up their sleeve, or will King turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
