Softball Recap: Dansville Comes Up Short

Fowler hit Dansville with a four-run sixth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Aggies lost 8-1 to the Eagles. The game marked the Aggies' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ryker Graf spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Keira Tietsurt was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Dansville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Fowler, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
