Flag Football Recap: Cross Keys Takes a Loss

Cross Keys was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Miller Grove Wolverines, falling 20-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Phoenix of the 36-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Cross Keys' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Miller Grove, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-11.

Cross Keys wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 19-0 loss against Southwest DeKalb on the 11th. As for Miller Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-13 win against Lithonia on the 16th.
