Preview: Tippecanoe Red Devils vs. Stebbins Indians

The Tippecanoe Red Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Stebbins Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tippecanoe will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Tippecanoe has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 30 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 79-43 victory over Xenia at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Tippecanoe has managed all season.

Jackson Smith was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. Maddox Sivon was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds and seven assists.

Meanwhile, Stebbins came up short against Sidney on Tuesday and fell 60-49.

Tippecanoe's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Stebbins, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Tippecanoe against Stebbins in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 76-32 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tippecanoe since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
