Baseball Game Preview: Warrensburg Tigers vs. Summit Christian Academy Eagles

The Warrensburg Tigers will square off against the Summit Christian Academy Eagles at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Warrensburg comes in on seven and Summit Christian Academy on 11.

Warrensburg barely beat Pleasant Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers put the hurt on the Roosters with a sharp 11-1 victory on Thursday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Summit Christian Academy came out on top against Barstow on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fifth inning. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Knights. The Eagles are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the 13th matchup they've won by 6+ runs this season.

Warrensburg's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Summit Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.

Warrensburg skirted past Summit Christian Academy 4-3 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
