Volleyball Recap: Durand Bulldogs vs. Stockton Blackhawks
Durand and Stockton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Durand had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stockton Blackhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.
While Durand was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mary Jane Norman, who had six digs.
