Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty Magnet). They walked away with a 24-21 victory over the Slaughter Community Charter Knights on Tuesday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Seth Trosclair was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-5. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Demond Thomas, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-5.

Liberty Magnet's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Slaughter Community Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Liberty Magnet will head out to face off against Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Slaughter Community Charter, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Patterson at 4:30 p.m.
