Football Recap: Lefors Comes Up Short

Lefors lost against White Deer back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates were dealt a 54-8 defeat at the hands of the Bucks. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-8.

Lefors' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for White Deer, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Lefors will host Holy Cross Catholic Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for White Deer, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on San Jacinto Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
