Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Principia Panthers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-12, 25-8.

Clara Conner had an outrageously good game for Principia as she had 11 aces. Those 11 aces gave Conner a new career-high.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Principia, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-2 record this season.

Roosevelt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience on the 26th. As for Principia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Burroughs on the 25th.
