Pine Bush extended their winning streak to nine on Monday, bumping them up to 16-3. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders. Considering the Bushmen have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Monroe-Woodbury, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-8 record. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this contest were averaging 3.82 runs allowed.

For Monroe-Woodbury's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Hayes, who went 1-for-2 with one run. Danni Gunning also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Bush will face off against Kingston at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Monroe-Woodbury, they will square off against Minisink Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
