Soccer Recap: Ridge Community vs. Lake Gibson
After flying high against Gateway last Monday, Ridge Community came back down to earth. The Ridge Community Bolts came up short against the Lake Gibson Braves on Wednesday, falling 4-0. The Bolts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Ridge Community now has a losing record at 3-4-1. As for Lake Gibson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridge Community's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Sebring at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Gibson, they will host Santa Fe Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Fe Catholic will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lake Gibson surely won't give up without a fight.
