Basketball Recap: Hononegah Falls Short of Libertyville in the Playoffs

Hononegah and Libertyville squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hononegah had to settle for second. They fell 47-36 to the Libertyville Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Wildcats are ranked 26th).

Hononegah's loss dropped their record down to 20-14. As for Libertyville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 23 of their last 24 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Hononegah nor Libertyville have any future games scheduled.
