Soccer Recap: Williams Finishes Even with Southeast Alamance

It was a good run, but Williams unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Southeast Alamance Stallions could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Williams have been dealt a draw since back in August.

Sebastian Vargas Aleem and Aurelio Figueroa scored both of Williams' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

With that draw, Williams' record moves to 7-3-3. As for Southeast Alamance, they moved theirs to 7-4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Williams is set to take on their familiar foe Eastern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Southeast Alamance will square off against rival Graham at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
