Basketball Game Preview: Long Reach Lightning vs. Atholton Raiders

The Long Reach Lightning will venture away from home to face off against the Atholton Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Long Reach is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Long Reach lost 55-31 to Centennial on Monday.

Meanwhile, Atholton suffered their closest defeat since December 16, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of Century by a score of 41-38. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atholton now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Long Reach, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Long Reach came up short against Atholton in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 49-39. Can Long Reach avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
