Tidehaven gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Wharton with a sharp 3-0 victory. Tidehaven has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Wharton, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tidehaven took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-13.

Coincidentally, Tidehaven and Wharton will both be playing Columbia the next time they take the court. Wharton will head out to face Columbia at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Tidehaven will play them later in the day, at 6:15 p.m.
