Basketball Recap: Cass Takes a Loss

Cass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 50-38 to the Model Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colonels of the 55-43 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Cass' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Model, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Cass won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Chattooga at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Model, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Adairsville at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
