Baseball Game Preview: Winters Blizzards vs. Bangs Dragons

The Winters Blizzards will venture away from home to challenge the Bangs Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Winters is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Things were looking good for Winters after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Coleman, falling 21-3.

Will Dunham was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Dunham wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Winters lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Bangs lost 7-1 to De Leon on Friday.

Bangs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skylar Minshew, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Bangs has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season. Winters' loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1.

Winters suffered a grim 14-3 defeat to Bangs when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Winters avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
