Athens had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.6 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 45-28 victory over the Miami Trace Panthers. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Panthers are ranked 333rd).

Athens' win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Miami Trace, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

Athens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 35-31 defeat against Sheridan on the 19th. Miami Trace does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
