Volleyball Recap: Tough Loss for Litchfield

The Litchfield Terriers came up short against the Waldron Spartans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Terriers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Litchfield has now lost 10 of their last 12 games on the road. That leaves them at a 2-8 record this season. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 5-0 Will Carleton Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 72.6% over those games). As for Waldron, they moved to 6-10 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Litchfield will welcome Marshall Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Waldron and Pittsford will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
