Recap: Otsego Knights vs. Ottawa Hills Green Bears
The Otsego Knights had to endure a ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 50-42 win over Ottawa Hills on Tuesday. Otsego's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Otsego found their leader in underclassman Jocelyn Cornell, who scored 23 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cornell has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Savannah Villarreal, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Otsego's victory bumped their record up to 3-17. As for Ottawa Hills, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-12.
Otsego will square off against Oak Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Otsego will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 756th, while Oak Harbor is ranked 260th). As for Ottawa Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cardinal Stritch at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
