Destin entered their tilt with Baker on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Baker Gators by a score of 55-45.

Destin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Calix McCune led the charge by putting up nine points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. McCune is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Memphis DeLong was another key player, posting seven points along with seven boards and four steals.

When it comes to explaining why Baker lost, don't look at Cole Hardin. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points. The dominant performance gave Hardin a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was AJ Chilton, who earned 11 points.

Destin pushed their record up to 14-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points per game. As for Baker, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-4.

Destin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Baker, they will challenge Laurel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Baker is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.
