Baseball Recap: San Saba Takes a Loss

San Saba was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 11-2 to the Harper Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 last Tuesday.

San Saba saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Monreal, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

San Saba's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Harper, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Looking ahead, San Saba will square off against Junction at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harper, they will head out to take on Blanco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
