Baseball Recap: Orange Panthers vs. Century Centurions
Orange's last matchup with Century could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. The Panthers lost 8-2 to the Centurions. The Panthers have struggled against the Centurions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.
Orange got a good showing from Jason Huerta, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, Huerta gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in March.
At the plate, Orange saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Norwalk, who went 1-for-3 with one double.
Orange's loss dropped their record down to 9-16-1. As for Century, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.
