Golden View Classical Academy waltzed into their game on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the Ascent Classical Academy Guardians 72-38. That's more bragging rights for the Sentinels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Golden View Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than George Hermanson, who went 7-for-10 on his way to 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Hermanson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jacob Walker, who went 5-for-9 en route to 11 points along with six assists and three steals.

Golden View Classical Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Ascent Classical Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jack Colberg, who posted 12 points, and Mason Jones, who had 12 points. The dominant performance also gave Colberg a new career-high in shooting accuracy (80%).

Golden View Classical Academy's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Ascent Classical Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.
