Volleyball Recap: Unicoi County Comes Up Short

If Unicoi County was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Happy Valley last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sullivan East Patriots on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 22-25, 25-12.

Unicoi County's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Sullivan East, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10.

As of now, neither Unicoi County nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
