Basketball Recap: Kirtland Central Comes Up Short

Kirtland Central lost against Miyamura back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kirtland Central Broncos took a hard 53-35 fall against the Miyamura Patriots.

It was another big night for Brody Tah, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds for Miyamura. The dominant performance also gave Tah a new career-high in steals (three). Ayden Nevayaktewa was another key player, putting up ten points and five boards.

Kirtland Central's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Miyamura, their victory bumped their record up to 4-20.

Kirtland Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-51 defeat against Aztec on the 18th. As for Miyamura, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-39 win against Bloomfield on the 18th.
