Soccer Game Preview: Priory vs. Santa Teresa

The Priory Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Santa Teresa Saints at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. Priory's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Priory's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past Piedmont Hills 1-0.

Meanwhile, Santa Teresa gave up the first goal on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Monta Vista. The high-scoring effort was just what Santa Teresa needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Santa Teresa now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Priory, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
