Soccer Game Preview: Walsh Jesuit vs. St. Ursula Academy

The Walsh Jesuit Warriors will take on the St. Ursula Academy Arrows at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Walsh Jesuit is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: Strongsville, who was ranked 11th at the time (Walsh Jesuit was ranked 14th). The Warriors fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Walsh Jesuit's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Ursula Academy). They never let Bluffton get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Tuesday. Give St. Ursula Academy's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

St. Ursula Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1-2. As for Walsh Jesuit, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-4-1 record.
