Union Grove came tearing into Thursday's contest with 13 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dutchtown Bulldogs. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Union Grove never let Dutchtown on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19.

Union Grove's victory bumped their record up to 25-3-1. As for Dutchtown, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-17.

Coming up, Union Grove will challenge Pope at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Dutchtown, they will face off against Langston Hughes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
