Basketball Recap: Graham Comes Up Short

Graham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 61-49 to the Jordan-Matthews Jets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-32 two weeks ago.

Jordan-Matthews found their leader in sophomore Zaeon Auguste, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 18 boards. Thanks to that strong game, Auguste now owns an excellent 45.7% field goal percentage. Kamarie Hadley was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals.

Graham's record is now 2-20. As for Jordan-Matthews, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.

Graham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jordan-Matthews, they are taking a road trip to square off against Chatham Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
