Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask FAITH HomeSchool). Everything went their way against the Eastern Shore HomeSchool Mavericks on Tuesday as the FAITH HomeSchool Falcons made off with a 72-50 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Falcons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 465th in Michigan, while the Mavericks are ranked 40th in Delaware).

Zach Miller and Eli Miller certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Zach went 8-for-18 en route to 21 points, while Eli dropped a double-double with 15 points and 15 boards. Eli is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Jayden Gray was another key player, putting up five points and five rebounds.

The win snapped FAITH HomeSchool's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 19-13 record. As for Eastern Shore HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Coming up, FAITH HomeSchool and Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. FAITH HomeSchool will be up against Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.68 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Eastern Shore HomeSchool, they and Greater Cabarrus S will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. Greater Cabarrus S will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Eastern Shore HomeSchool surely won't give up without a fight.
