Recap: Orange Lions vs. Midview Middies
The Orange Lions lost against the Midview Middies back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Orange fell 36-27 to Midview. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Orange has scored all season.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Daberko, who scored four points along with ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Daberko pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Anekwe, who scored eight points.
Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Midview, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orange will take on West Geauga at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Midview, they will head out on the road to face off against Steele at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Steele and Midview are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
