Volleyball Game Preview: Thompson Warriors vs. Huntsville Panthers

The Thompson Warriors will head out to square off against the Huntsville Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Thompson is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Hoover just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 3-2.

Thompson wouldn't go down easily and took Hoover into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-19, 25-14, 24-26, 15-11.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Huntsville duked it out with Lindsay Lane Christian Academy on Saturday. The Panthers came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0.

Huntsville's victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Thompson, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 18-6.
