Football Recap: Hazel Green Gets the Win

Hazel Green's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 19-14 win over the East Limestone Indians. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

The victory got Hazel Green back to even at 1-1. As for East Limestone, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hazel Green will take on Mae Jemison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for East Limestone, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
