            Pahrump Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They were six  points away from ending the streak, but they lost a  35-29 heartbreaker at the hands of the Spring Creek Spartans.
 Despite the loss, Pahrump Valley still got an impressive performance from   Ryleigh Denton, who  posted 14  points and five  rebounds. That was a full 48.3% of Pahrump Valley's points, marking the third time in a row she's   put up  more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Riley Saldana, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and nine  rebounds.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Spring Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Ryan Youngblood, who  had eight points and five  rebounds. Youngblood is also crushing it when it comes to  steals: she's   grabbed at least two every time she's  taken the court this season.
Pahrump Valley's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 3-5. As for Spring Creek, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Mohave Accelerated the next time they take the court. Spring Creek will head out to face Mohave Accelerated at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while Pahrump Valley will head out to face them  at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
