Lincoln County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Greene County Tigers 42-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Red Devils' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Tigers are ranked 391st).

Lincoln County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kelby Glaze led the charge by rushing for 81 yards and three scores on only five carries. Glaze also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making five total tackles. Mekhi Wade was another key signal caller, throwing for 149 yards and one TD on perfect 5-for-5 passing.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lincoln County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 340 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 228 rushing yards in nine consecutive matchups.

Another reason for the win was Lincoln County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Glaze with two.

Lincoln County's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Greene County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

As of now, neither Lincoln County nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
