Soccer Recap: Santa Fe Victorious

With a playoff win on the line, Santa Fe rose to the challenge on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Interlachen Rams a 2-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Vana Zaldivar was the driving force of Santa Fe's attack as she scored both of Santa Fe's goals, bringing her season total up to five goals.

Santa Fe's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Interlachen, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9-5.

Santa Fe didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Eastside on the 30th. Interlachen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
