Volleyball Game Preview: Trimble Tomcats vs. Nelsonville-York Buckeyes

The Trimble Tomcats will head out on the road to take on the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Nelsonville-York took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Trimble, who comes in off a win.

Nelsonville-York will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Trimble extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Tomcats walked away with a 3-1 victory over Waterford.

Trimble was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 23-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Nelsonville-York came up short against Meigs on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Buckeyes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Nelsonville-York was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-15, 25-17.

Nelsonville-York's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Trimble, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
