Recap: Whitney Young Dolphins vs. Wheaton North Falcons
It was a good run, but The Whitney Young Dolphins unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by Wheaton North 34-0. While losing is never fun, Whitney Young can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 196th, while Wheaton North is ranked 41st).
Whitney Young's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Wheaton North, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Whitney Young will look to defend their home field on Friday against Taft at 6:00 p.m. Wheaton North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
