Basketball Recap: New Auburn Beats Bruce for Their 15th Straight Victory

New Auburn put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bruce Red Raiders 65-32. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.

New Auburn pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Bruce, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

New Auburn will host Independence/Gilmanton at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. New Auburn's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Independence/Gilmanton's offense will have their work cut out for them. Bruce has already played their next game (against Flambeau), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
