Basketball Game Preview: Nedrose Cardinals vs. Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers

Nedrose is 1-8 against Des Lacs-Burlington since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Nedrose Cardinals will square off against the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers at 7:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Nedrose is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Saturday. They lost to Turtle Mountain at home by a 78-62 margin.

Meanwhile, Des Lacs-Burlington had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They strolled past South Prairie/Max with points to spare, taking the game 67-50.

Des Lacs-Burlington's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Nedrose, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.
