Volleyball Recap: Taft Takes a Loss

Taft lost against Niles North back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Vikings.

Taft may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 19 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19.

Leading Niles North to victory were Rafael dan Bartilad and Yoshiro Waldron. Bartilad had 17 digs and three assists, while Waldron had eight digs. Those eight digs gave Waldron a new career-high.

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Niles North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Taft does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Niles North, they will welcome Vernon Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
