Mt. St. Michael Academy never let their opponents score on Saturday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-0 victory over the Cardinal Spellman Pilots. That's more bragging rights for the Mountaineers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Victor Declet was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 89 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Nathaniel Cabrera got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Mt. St. Michael Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Cabrera, Ryan Urena, Owen Collins, and Chace Butler picked up one apiece. Cabrera got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Mt. St. Michael Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cardinal Spellman, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
