Estrella Foothills strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 27-16 win over the North Canyon Rattlers.

Will Davis was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 145 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Jacob Rawls was another key player, rushing for 45 yards and one score.

North Canyon's loss came despite strong showings from Dom Dampier and Karlos Romandia. Dampier picked up 80 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while Romandia threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns.

Estrella Foothills' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for North Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Estrella Foothills will be playing at home against Agua Fria at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will be up against the Owls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Canyon, they will head out on the road to take on Rio Rico at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
