Basketball Recap: Harrells Christian Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Harrells Christian Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to ten on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were beaten by the Faith Christian Patriots 49-16. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-9.

Landry Singletary was Harrells Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Riley Dixon held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.

As for Faith Christian, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 9th (when they won 54-16).

Faith Christian was led to victory by Brylan Harris and Abby Vann. Harris shot 47% from the field en route to 18 points and five rebounds, while Vann posted eight points along with eight assists and five steals. Vann is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Rebekah Futrell also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Looking ahead, Harrells Christian Academy will host Epiphany at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Faith Christian, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Arendell Parrott Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
