Aiken is 8-2 against Airport since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Aiken Fighting Green Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Airport Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Aiken's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They skirted past Lakeside 1-0. Given the Fighting Green Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 89th in South Carolina, while the Panthers are ranked 202nd in Georgia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aiken's one-goal win came courtesy of Scott Campbell, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Airport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Midland Valley, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly eight goals.

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Aiken, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Aiken took their victory against Airport when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 5-0. Does Aiken have another victory up their sleeve, or will Airport turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
