Volleyball Recap: Mary Margaret Dye and Madelyn Schroeder Secure Win for Brentwood Academy

There's no place like home for Brentwood Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Ensworth Tigers on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 21-25, 25-20.

Leading Brentwood Academy to victory were Madelyn Schroeder and Mary Margaret Dye. Schroeder had 14 assists and three digs, while Dye hit 61.5% for nine kills and 11 digs and four aces. What's more, Dye racked up 21 assists, the most she's had over her last eight contests.

Brentwood Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Ensworth, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
