Basketball Recap: Archbishop Carroll's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Archbishop Carroll extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Alexis Eberz. The Archbishop Carroll Patriots breezed by Nazareth Academy to the tune of 64-30 on Thursday thanks in part to Eberz, who posted 26 points. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Archbishop Carroll's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Nazareth Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Archbishop Carroll has already played their next contest (against Neumann-Goretti), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Nazareth Academy will be playing at home against West Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
